Alongside her jewelry line, Amy Morrell is also a professor of Fashion Illustration. She has taught illustration to fashion design students in colleges for over 15 years.
The inspiration for the Draped collection came from being with her students, experiencing their enthusiasm, their drive, and the fabrics and textures that they bring into the classroom. They are an endless source of inspiration for her. Draped is a little homage to them.
Treehaus started life as a pop-up shop in a vintage VW bus and has grown into a well-loved style hub in Los Angeles’ Atwater Village. Purveyors of cool, owners Michelle and Saralynne showcase standout small batch, local and independent makers with a focus on socially conscious and female designers.
