Flaxseed & Oat Protein Curly Hair Gel is our OG—the very first product that founder Gabi made in her kitchen back in 2017. It’s still our cult favorite for curlies today because of how well it keeps curls soft, bouncy, and brilliant—without the crunchy, crispy, ramen-y texture that typically comes with a gel.

This product uses shea butter and jojoba oil to moisturize and define your curls. Flaxseed and oat protein work together to provide a light hold. Think soft, touchable waves that never have that hard cast feeling.

Flaxseed & Oat Protein Gel is ideal for 2A to 3C curls but can also easily be used for twist-outs and finger coils.

How to use: After washing, finger-comb wet hair to get out any tangles. Depending on hair length and thickness, use a quarter- to half-dollar-sized amount of gel. Flip your head and scrunch the gel into your hair, section by section. Use a cotton t-shirt (terrycloth towels can cause breakage!) to scrunch out excess water. Style as desired, including air-drying or diffusing.
